My 2 boys & my nephew

The boy in stripes is my nephew.The one in blue is my 2nd son, the other boy is my elder son.

These 3 of them always play together,think my nephew enjoyed a lot coz he is the only kid in my mother in law house.There is no one play with him or fight toys with him,until my 2 boys come! My younger one likes to play his cars, trains, etc, but my nephew always snatch from him when he plays, then each of them will come to me & complain to me......That's why my nephew enjoy to play with my elder son coz he knows he will give in to him, hahaha!!!!

This is the bicycle parking area near the train station.Ppl usually cycle to here, park their bicycle then take train to work. Not like Singapore, when u cycle on the pathway, ppl will scold you, but in Japan is different, cars got to give way to bicycle & you got to give way to them even they cycle on the pathway & is normal...They are so well manners, when u give way they will say thank you to you, but in SG.......... don't dare to think!!!!!
This is near my mother in law house supermarket, 2nd level is the 100 yen shop. 1st level got supermarket & bookshop, on the other side have optical shop and salon...very convenience, just out from the house , 5 mins walk .....
This is the way going to train station, station name is called Nishi Chofu,in fact this area very convenience, take local train to Chofu station which is just one stop, then change to express train to Shinjuku, to Shinjuku is abt 15 mins,very fast right!!!

This is the stairs which goes up to our room & down to the kitchen.( Narrow?)The house do not have any living hall, their kitchen is also their dining area.So usually after dinner, we will all go up to our room & watch TV. This is my mother in law house exterior view,looks big? In fact inside very small & narrow....but enough for them to stay. Small area easy to clean & maintain.

I get this shampoo & conditional sample while walking along Shinjuku.Gave it a try & it's make my hair very soft after washing, even without the conditional also can. Smooth & soft.......& nice smell..

This green tea I been drinking for 2 weeks, everytime I went out I will buy this green tea from vending machine, cost 150 yen. I myself feel that stay in Japan is so healhy, got nice mountains, fresh air, healthy tea & food........

This is for damage hair oil, just apply onto the hair ends . So far so good, make my hair soft & manageable
Saw this eye cream over the counter, is from shiseido.They stated eye treatment cream, this colour range is for sensitive skin. Brought it to give it a try.The texture is mild & light although is stated cream.
Yeah!!! My favourite snack, Ika somen. Once I am back in Japan, I will always buy this a lot come back, cheap & nice, per pkt only 100 yen.Usually I will buy abt 10 pkt or more,this time is lesser coz no more stock, all I brought finished.Last year I brought abt 20 packs came back, hahah!!!!
This is black sesame spread,I always eat this with toast bread in Japan. I just love the taste & both my boys also love it....cost abt $5.30, 399 yen.Have anyone find this in Singapore? Do let me know.I know last time Isetan have but very expensive but now I cannot find it over there....
This is one of my favourite ocha, but is use soba to make, so is called sobacha.
I cannot find it in Singapore, even in Isetan or mediya.They only have the normal green tea but not this sobacha.This taste more nicer then green tea, with flavour of green tea & soba...

This hoyu hair serum Singapore also got sell, but they don't sell refill .
This eye mask from Kose,5 pieces per box, cost abt $6.60, 500 yen.This eye mask very moisture & if your eye area very dry,this mask is good!
This face mask is from Puresa, per box 5 pieces,they free 1 piece, so total 6 piece, price almost the same with the eye mask, maybe a little bit more, cannot remember the price.The gel inside the mask a lot, after u put in on for 15 mins, the whole face very moisture.I like this mask a lot & it's contain Q10.
This pore care also very good, just put a little on your nose & forehead & rub for abt 3 mins, it's have warming effect.It's stated rub away the blackheads & whiteheads & it's make your nose like baby nose!!!! soft & clean......
This Q10 cream is very good, I apply at night before sleep coz the cream a bit thick. I myself feel that this cream might look thick but when u apply ,the feeling is different,especially when you wake up in the morning, the skin look radiant & soft.......The size is 20G & the cost is abt $10.60, 800 yen.

Talk about shopping, I sure will go crazy!!!! Too many things to see & buy, especially all the FEMALE stuff!!!! The latest cosmetics, skin products, food,etc...........Above the photo is the stuff which I always buy when I am there, coz Singapore don't have, if have , I think the price is higher then Japan. All the products are Made In Japan, that's why is cheaper over there.

This game is rate No 1 in Japan now, I am not sure if Singapore have this game or not., but buy from Japan is cheaper.It comes with a game software & steering wheel. I brought another steering wheel which cost only 1000 yen, SG is about $13.Japan have a lot of games, sometimes don't know what to buy, actually I want to buy WiiFit, cost 8800 yen which is $117 in SG, in the end didn't buy coz it's big size.My neighbourhood game store have this WiiFit, they want to charge me $180 which they told me is discounted price!!!!!

HI,finally I am back from my 2 weeks holiday from Japan.....very tired,been back for so many years to my mother in law house, still can't seem to get use to sleep on futon (which is their mattress only, no bed , no thick mattress.......)wake up confirm here pain there pain.........I know some futon very thick & nice to sleep, but mine is not so no choice.....This 高尾山口 which I went is very nice, been there for few times, every year is different feeling.Last 2 year I went is on winter time, this time is close to summer, which is also raining season,but luckily when I went there is sunny so managed to took nice view & flowers for you all to enjoy!!!!If anyone out there have chance, go on winter time, coz you will be climbing up to the mountain abt 599meters, weather cold cold then have their hot soba there, coz 高尾山口 is famous in their soba (SHIOK)!!!! We went up by chair lift, you can either choose by either cable car or chair lift, but we walked down when we go back, very very tired coz the road is all steep slope.......come to think of it, we should choose to go down by chair lift, but my hubby said we walked down & TRY!!!!!In the end all of us like CRAZY!!!!

DIY Avocado Hair Mask

My hair belong to dry & damage type, always colour or perm............

so recently went for hair cut to cut off the damage part, quite a lot snip off.....:( but no choice, if don't cut off the damage part, all the hair mask that I do will not absorb.I brought 1 avocado, still not so ripe, so must wait for abt 5 day or longer to ripe.This hair mask need to mash the avocado until cream or puree also can, so that it will not have bit of lumps, if not later very difficult to wash out.After the avocado mash, stir in coconut milk to make like smooth paste.Ever wonder why Indian's hair all so black & shiny? It's COCONUT MILK or OIL they apply on hair........Leave the hair mask abt 1hr or more, then wash as usual.

Hair will become very soft!!!!!!!!!

Meringue Cookies

I made this meringue cookies in the morning,nice & sweet cookies & will not make you fat coz there is no flour needed.The photo is before baking.The ingredients are 2 egg white, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla essence, 1/4 cream of tartar & 3/4 cup sugar.If you don't like it sweet, can put abt 1/2 sugar, I put less then 3/4 cup of sugar, but still find it sweet,next round I shall put less, think around 1/2 cup.My boys love it very much coz it's SWEET!!!!

Handmade Noodles(Mee Hoon Kueh)

Today I make this handmade noodles for lunch, is my first time making , can be so tasty! Haha. The dough is so easy to make, I just add 2 cups plain flour, little bit of salt & water to adjust. Some recipe say need to add egg, but I don't really like egg, so I opt the egg out.My son said very nice, weekend I shall cook again coz my hubby is outstation till Friday then back!!!

Yogurt DIY

Everything is INCREASING!! Where got so much $$$ ? My family eat yogurt everyday after dinner, so when come to buy, very high cost, so decided to make my own yogurt.Well, is so easy, learn it on the channel 8.Just need 1 pkt of milk, any milk,I use low fat milk & 1 plain flavoured yogurt.Next time I will use soy milk, see if taste nice or not.I use fresh fruit to eat together with yogurt, taste very nice, just like what I buy from supermarket! After I done with the yougurt, I store it in the glass container & let it ferment for 12 hrs, after that you can see the yougurt will become like tofu, means is half ok, but still cannot eat yet, got to put inside the fridge, "example: I start to do in the morning at 8.30am, 12 hrs is 8.30pm,then I put inside the fridge, the next morning I can eat liao!"The more longer u let it ferment , the more sour the yogurt will become, so I feel 12 hrs is the best.

I always use this glass to drink my enzyme, I am enjoying my dragonfruit enzyme now.Usually I drink without putting the ice, love to drink the original taste, coz I myself feel that if you put the ice, it will melt then become dilute, taste different.Unless the enzyme is very very strong, I will just put 1 piece of ice only.

My boy today english lesson is teaching "My pets", so I have took some photo of my 2 bunnies, white one is called snownie, male, while the black one is called blackie,female.Both are abt 1 yr 5 mth.Actually I didn't buy these 2 bunnies, is one of my fren's rabbit give birth, so she asked me if I would like to adopt the rabbits,before that my kids keep pester me to buy rabbits, but I didn't do that coz buying pets is not just the kids like then you buy, u need to have a lot of commitment towards the animal.And so when the rabbits give birth, I decided to adopt them if not they will send to SPCA.My both bunnies already went for sterilization, so confirm cannot have babies! But both of them cannot stay together, coz snownie will BULLY the blackie,there was time when snownie bite blackie's ear until the blood spill all over my wall,OMG!!! Snownie is very fierce & aggressive while blackie is more timid.I have to let them out one by one, each one abt 3 hrs to run around.....

Hubby just back from Australia yesterday, brought some chocolate & nougat.I think the nougat is cheaper then SG,500g all mix nougat which have different favours cost AU23.05, the best bargain I think is the fish oil which I asked him to buy, cost AU29.77, for about 5mth supply, brought 2 bottles come back, cost AU 54, which I think is cheap.The japanese cracker is brought by my japanese fren, very nice.....

Brought this few at the dragonfruit farm, 1kg $4.The owner of the farm also do enzyme & he said this batch is the best to make enzyme, coz is half ripe.I always buy red dragonfruit from this farm, I find that their fruits is much more fresher then the outside.The organic lemon is also brought at the farm, is another side of the farm , not at the dragonfruit farm.Organic lemon is very big, cost $2 each.

Steps in making beauty papaya enzyme

Method:

1) Rinse & dried papaya,lemon & red dates.Peel off papaya skin,Slice papaya & lemon,reddates cut open.Dried longan need not be rinsed.

2)Divide ingredients into 3 potion.Stack inhredients in sequence, dried longan,red dates,papaya,lemon, oligo sugar & flower honey.The remaining 2 potions to follow.

3) Seal tight with food wrap after 3 portions of ingredients completed stack-in.Covered with lid.Keep in dry cool place for 2 weeks before serve.After 2 weeks, drain out all the juice & can keep for 2 -4 weeks.

Brought this green papaya, $1.80 each. This enzyme suppose to be with kiwi,my small supermarket no kiwi & so I just do the papaya.
This papaya need not peel off the skin,but i peel off!!!didn't see probably .I am using flower honey & oligo sugar.

I have already harvested this enzyme, at first when I done, I thought the taste will not be so nice coz have celery,never the less I still give it a shot.

Almond cookies recipe

Ingredients:

2 3/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup (2 sticks/8 oz/226g) butter, margarine, or lard, softened

1 large egg, slightly beaten

1 teaspoon almond extract

48-50 whole almonds, blanched

Glaze: (optional) 2 egg yolks beaten with 4 teaspoons of water for glaze
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F/160 degrees C.

Sift flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl.

Cut in softened butter until mixture resembles cornmeal.

Add beaten egg, and almond extract, mix well.

Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

Place an almond on top of each cookie and press down to flaten slightly. Glaze: (optional) Lightly brush the top of each cookie with the egg yolk glaze.

Bake in preheated oven for 15-18 minutes. Cool on rack.

Makes approximately 4 1/2 dozen cookies.

This is the cherry enzyme that I harvested yesterday, colour like BLOOD!!!Dark deep red.When I open the container, the alcohol smell strong so I gave it a try, wah! the moment the enzyme go down, my whole body very HOT, really taste like red wine, like semi dry red wine!!My elder son dn't really like, but my younger son LOVE it, coz got strong alcohol.......He really like me, a DRINKER!!! ha ha ha

INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter
1 cup vegetable oil ( I use olive oil)
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg ( I put 2 eggs)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar (optional) (I added this)
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups cornflakes cereal
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup coconut flakes (I didn't add this)(but still come out very NICE)
1 cup walnuts
1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2) In a large bowl, beat together the butter, vegetable oil, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy. Then add egg, vanilla, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar, and mix with an electric mixer until slightly fluffy. With a spoon, gradually stir in flour until well mixed. Stir in cornflakes, oatmeal, coconut, walnuts, and chocolate chips. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, 2 inches apart.

3) Bake in a preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until slightly brown. Remove from oven; allow cookies to cool 5 minutes on baking sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

I have found this recipes on the internet, they called it forever fresh cookies & so I decided to give it a try yesterday.The result come out is very cruncy & crispy, very nice cookies taste, worth baking, do give it a try since chinese new year is coming & don't need to spend so much $$$ on the goodies & cookies!!I enjoyed baking a lot, if interested I can send you few recipes that I had tried so far, all turn out very nice.

Enoki

I believe most of the ppl have seen the normal white colour enoki.I would like to share this mountain enoki, is in brown colour.Almost the same as white colour, but I found that this is nicer then white enoki.Do give it a try.Btw I brought it at meidiya, Japanese supermarket.

HI, these are the things you need for making enzyme.The big glass container is for storing enzyme for 2 weeks, the glass bottle is for storing the enzyme juice after you filter out from the enzyme. You can use any glass bottle, example like wine bottle, so start keeping .As for the oligo sugar, you can find it most of the organic shop or at some chinese medicial shop, the red cap cost $6.80 ,the green cap cost $7.50 .My advice is to use new chopping board and knife, don't use your kitchen meat knife to cut the fruits that make enzyme, it will have bacterial.I also wear disposable gloves whenever I make enzyme, for hygiene purpose.
